Your journey will begin on a scenic coach trip to Cape Jervis to then board the Sealink ferry to the township of Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Once you've arrived, kick back and relax as you are taken on your luxury SeaLink coach across South Australia’s premier nature-based tourism destination. Your first stop on the island will be the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, where you will witness first hand the natural production of Eucalyptus Oil, originating from the Kangaroo Island Narrow-Leaf Mallee. You will also have the chance to visit the local shop and see the eucalyptus oil-based products, available for purchase to then enjoy a freshly prepared Aussie barbecue lunch.
Your second stop of the day's tour will be a visit to Seal Bay home to the Australian sea lion and the third largest breeding colony in Australia. You will have the opportunity to see these creatures close-up, swimming in the surf or basking in the sand, all in the company of a local guide. Next up on the tour will be the Birds of Prey Show, where you will experience an awe-inspiring in-flight display of Australian Birds of Prey, Wedge Tailed Eagles, Kookaburras, Ospreys and many many other varieties of birds. Join Dave and Leeza Irwin (yes they are related to the famous Irwin clan) as they take you on an amazing interactive wildlife experience.
Lastly, you will get the chance to visit the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park and have the awesome chance to chill amongst friendly kangaroos and wallabies.
