Setting off from Hurghada in the early morning towards Qena City, a large market town on the River Nile, then head to the impressive Temple of Abydos. Whilst travelling, you will watch local Egyptian villages and green fields with farmers ploughing, watering, planting, or harvesting. Admire, seeing children going to school or women going to the market to sell their products of cheese, butter and geese. Visit the captivating Temple of Abydos one of the best-preserved temple complexes in Egypt.

It is time to stretch your legs and enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal at a traditional house next to the Temple. Try Mesaka’a, a traditional dish consisting of eggplants, tomatoes and minced meat.
