Visit a husky farm in Saariselkä
Join this guided tour in a husky kennel and pet those friendly dogs as you hear stories about their life. If you're lucky, you might also meet some incredibly cute husky puppies!
The kennel is located a 10-minute drive from Saariselkä, and you can either start your tour directly at the tour operator's office or you can take advantage of the transfer service from your local accommodation. There are 200 huskies at the kennel, each with a special story, thrilled and eager to meet visitors.
During the tour, the guide will tell you stories about the life of huskies, you will learn the history of these dogs and of course you will be able to pet them. After the tour, a hot drink and snack will be served by the open fire in a traditional Kota hut.
