Take a tour of two mythical wine regions of Bordeaux: Médoc & St-Emilion. Drive through the countryside of Bordeaux and pass by ‘appellations’, which have made the reputation of Bordeaux red wines. Discover 3 wine estates within a day and enjoy a picnic lunch in Bordeaux.
Head to the Medoc wine region. Enjoy explanations about the Bordeaux wines during the journey to the châteaux. You'll visit a prestigious Classified Growth estate of 1855. Walking around the vineyards and cellars, you'll learn about the estate’s wine-making process and end with wine tastings.
Then, you'll drive to the beautiful Saint Emilion region and enjoy a casual picnic lunch in the park of a charming Great Classified Growth estate overlooking the Saint Emilion vineyards. Feel the intimacy of the private château as you tour the château and vines. Enjoy a tasting class, and learn the steps of wine tasting and educate your nose in identifying wine aromas. During the lunch, you will enjoy some of their fine wines.
Then you will visit a third winery, to understand better the specificities of Saint Emilion wines. To finish, you'll discover the village of Saint Emilion,’s World Heritage list.
