Next, follow the sacred path of the Apostle on the outskirts of the city. This involves hiking along a section of the ancient Via Egnatia. As you leave Kavala behind, watch as the landscape transforms from urban to forest, with the Paggaio Mountain and Falakro dominating the backdrop over the plain of Philippi.

Your next significant stop is the ancient site of Philippi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most important city of Macedonia. It also served as the prison site of the Apostle Paul. Nearby, on the banks of the Zygaktis, you'll visit Lydia's baptistery - she was the first woman to be baptized a Christian in Europe.

The final stop is at "Orthopetra", a Roman Hellenistic settlement. Here, you'll find a monument along the ancient Via Egnatia and evidence of the world's oldest winemaking. After a day filled with spiritual devotion and well-being, you'll return to Kavala, concluding your activity at the departing point.
