This castle, perched atop an ancient Carthusian monastery's remains, was procured by the Savoy family and transformed into a hunting lodge by Charles Albert. Hidden amongst age-old woods in a location initially chosen for prayer and meditation, Casotto Castle never fails to astonish and captivate.
After an extended period of closure during which significant restoration work was undertaken by its owner, the Piedmont Region, you'll have the opportunity to uncover its history and peculiarities. A guided tour will enable you to explore the outdoor rooms, fully furnished apartments, the royal chapel, and even ascend the bell tower.
