From the Uffizi, you'll reach the Accademia Gallery after a short walk through the city center from Piazza Della Signoria to Piazza del Duomo. The gallery houses the highest number of sculptures by Michelangelo, as well as the Museum of Musical Instruments and the largest collection of paintings on a gold background in the world. Marvel at David, the most famous Florentine symbol, a masterpiece sculpture and one of the emblems of the Renaissance. At the end of the guided tour, you can stay inside the gallery until closing time.
