The tour will start at Teatro Massimo. During the first part of it, your group will be guided through the alleys of the Capo market and its fragrant stalls of fish and fruit. The guide will tell you the story of the market and its colorful everyday life, giving you the chance to taste the street food of Palermo and discover all about its secrets. You'll be able to taste some fried excellences of the city such as âarancineâ, âpanelleâ and mint and potato croquettes.
The tastings will take place both at street stands and popular fried food shops. The experience will then continue along the old tannery, before arriving at the Vucciria market, where you'll be given the opportunity to share a glass of dessert wine and an aperitif with the locals. Don't miss the traditional âpani ca'meusaâ (bread with veal spleen and lung) before a sweet final triumph (âcannoloâ in winter, ice cream in summer).

So, the guide will be allowed to modify the itinerary and the tastings in order to offer you a unique experience, close to the local tradition.
