Your expert guide will tell you all you need to know about the history and structure of this imposing amphitheater, about its importance and the games and gladiators' fights that took place in it. Once the guided visit is concluded, you'll have free time to tour the area, before embarking upon the second part of the tour.
Palatine Hill, is one of the seven hills of Rome, the one where Romulus, the first king of Rome, chose to found his city back in 753 BC. Here you'll admire the ruins of several Roman palaces as well as stunning views across the city. Lastly, reach the Roman Forum, where you'll learn what life was like for the Romans of that era and where you'll understand the importance of this place, considered the political, social and economic center of the city. Once the tour is finished, you can choose to remain inside the Forum and continue visiting on your own.
