Take a guided walking tour around all four of Rome's Major Basilicas with a devout Catholic guide and theological scholar. Each of the Basilicas is the site of one of the Holy Doors, due to open in the Holy Jubilee Year of 2025.
Your tour begins when you meet your guide at the obelisk in the center of Piazza San Pietro, beholding from the offset the awesome sight that is St. Peter's Basilica. Inside, you'll see Michelangelo's Pietà, relics of the major saints and the tomb of St. Peter. Following St. Paul, you'll stop by the Holy Steps, and next you visit the Mother Church of the World, the Arch-Basilica of St. John Lateran, where the heads of Saint Peter and Paul, the Pillars of the Church, reside.
Finally, you conclude your four Major Basilicas and Holy Doors Pilgrim Tour at St. Mary Major, where wood from Christ’s crib is on display as well as the icon Salus Populi Romani. Pilgrims who pass through the Holy Doors in 2025 will be granted a plenary indulgence. This indulgence is a spiritual boon granted by the Holy See in the most ample manner possible, and it involves specific conditions such as confession and Communion.

- It is important that you note that pilgrims wishing to pass through the Holy Doors during the Jubilee Year must register, and book time slots on the official Vatican Iubileum2025 website. If you are unable to secure time-slots that fit into our tour itinerary, please contact the local operator so that they can tailor the tour around the time-slots you have been allocated.
