There is no better way to explore the capital of the aperitivo than on a food crawl. The city is filled with cafes, bars and restaurants to sample some of the delicious delicacies. Start your tour with sipping from a glass of wine in a local Bacaro, a small bar serving wine with a cicchetto (a tasty savory snack), and enjoy your Venetian aperitivo. Next, you will head to Osteria della Vedova for their famous meatballs, following a 150-year old recipe. Continuing you will try a Biscotti Bussolai Buranelli, the typical butter biscuits from Burano. Close to Piazza San Marco you will stop for a traditional Venetian tramezzini sandwich with ham and mushrooms at Rosa Salva.
