As the sun begins to rise, you'll get picked up early in the morning from your hotel lobby to witness this awe-inspiring spectacle. Your expert local guide, well-versed in the rich history and culture of Angkor, will lead you through the temple's secluded passageways, revealing the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in all their intricate detail.

After two hours of exploration, it's time for a short break and breakfast before you venture to the ancient capital city of the Khmer empire. Pause at the south gate of Angkor Thom city, where an enormous statue adorned with 54 gods and 54 asuras stands guard - each representing one of the provinces during the Angkor period. Then, reach Bayon temple, the last temple of the king. Here, symbols of Hinduism and Buddhism merge together.

As noon approaches, continue your journey to Ta Prohm, a temple enveloped by the jungle and brimming with atmosphere.
