Get ready to discover the tradition and gastronomy of Laos! On this tour, you'll join a local family and enjoy a cooking class.
Your experience will start in Luang Prabang, where you'll join your local guide and start a ride to a nearby village to meet your host family. Prepare yourself to visit a local market, where your hosts will introduce you to galangal, lemongrass, and other traditional ingredients.
After the market tour, head back to the house and get ready to cook. Depending on the available ingredients, you might make laap, a spicy salad of minced pork or chicken with sticky rice, or green papaya salad, a popular dish with shrimp paste, sugar, and lime juice. Don't miss the chance to sit down and taste your cooking skills.
