When mentioning Struga, people often refer to it as the North Macedonian city of poetry and bridges because the world's largest poetry gathering is held here. Known as the Struga Poetry Evenings, this event attracts laureates including several Nobel Prize winners in Literature.

There you can taste different products which are produced in the gardens of local residents. Your journey continues towards the self-proclaimed independent region of Vevchani, where you'll discover the reasons why the people here proclaim themselves independent. At first, you'll cool down and quench your thirst at the colorful springs of Vevchani, where the water flows fresh from the mountains.
