Appreciated for walking and resting, you will explore the charming Ourika valley nestled high in the Atlas Mountains after visiting an aromatic garden. Set in the visually stunning Ourika Valley in the heart of the beautiful Moroccan countryside, the bio-aromatic gardens are the first of their kind in Morocco and include more than 50 healing plants. Later you will stop at little villages and get to know more about the local culture through interactions with locals and their food.
The Ourika River pierces the foothills of the Atlas making the valley green with orchards and terraced crops. This beautiful valley is also punctuated by a string of small douar homes. Ourika's atmosphere and unique décor is sure to impress!

It was good but why do TUI allow 3rd party providers to treat us like idiots! We were taken to a Berber house where a Berber family were supposed to reside. They weren’t in because they couldn’t speak English’ Nobody had lived there for years! It was basically a museum - be honest and tell us that. We had to leave them money - oh and guess what? In a stable they had a massive gift shop which we felt obliged to buy from. Just say what it is instead of making stuff up

Lovely driver and guide. Felt very safe being driven for approx 1 hour to the Atlas Mountains. First stop was a community womens cooperative making argon oil products. We also toured the farm house behind. The ladies were lovely and we had tea and bread with honey, Argon oil and nut butter. Then we visited a traditional house and some view points. Very pretty location and the locals were very welcoming. Take cash for tips and buying products. Bonus point for meeting a lovely donkey!

Beautiful scenery and the driver ( we did not get his name, did drive carefully and well) but the driver was a man of few words and no guide. We were constantly hounded by small children and adults for money. This is a hard sell tour it’s not all about the scenery and the way of life- beware.
