See the sights of Gdańsk from aboard a wooden replica of a traditional Polish riverboat, the kind that’s been cruising these waters for over 400 years. With just 12 seats, it’s a cosy and relaxed way to explore – no crowds, just you and a handful of fellow adventurers.
Your journey begins in the historic Gdańsk Shipyard area, once home to nearly 18,000 workers and off-limits to visitors for over 170 years – until recently. From there, you’ll glide along the Motława River, right through the heart of the Old Town. You’ll get a great view of the city’s landmarks from here, including views of the Teutonic castle ruins, old city water gates, the iconic 15th-century wooden crane, and rows of beautifully restored tenement houses. You’ll also get a rare close-up look at specialist vessels, the city’s towering harbour cranes, and the mix of old and new architecture on Ołowianka and Granary Islands.
