Explore Zakopane, one of the most famous resort towns in southern Poland, just at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. During one day, you will learn more about the highlander's traditions, taste the local products, and admire the breathtaking views.
The tour is flexible and you can adjust its program to your needs. At the checkout, you can choose one of three options and spend your time in Zakopane as you wish.
Tour with Krupowki and cheese tasting option:
You will start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Krakow and you will drive around 2 hours to Zakopane. On the board, your professional driver and guide will tell you more about the resort town and the Tatra Mountains. Your first stop will be at the highlander's house called bacówka, where you will taste the famous mountain cheese called oscypek and local liquor made of lemons or cherries. You will learn about the cheese-making process and you can grill it yourself with the addition of aromatic cranberries.
Next, you will drive to the beating heart of Zakopane and visit Krupówki, the most famous street in the city. Your guide will share with you some tips and tricks about visiting the city. You can also ask for the restaurant recommendation!
After the comprehensive introduction, you will have free time to explore Zakopane at your own pace.
Tour with Krupowki, cheese tasting and Gubalowka Funicular option:
You can upgrade your tour and choose the Zakopane + Gubałówka option. This choice will allow you to experience all the attractions mentioned above and will give you also the opportunity to ride a cable car to the top of Gubałówka. Gubałówka is a popular mountain, often visited by tourists because of its breathtaking views. It's worth to mention that the tickets to the cable car ensure the fast track entrance, so you will save your time!
Tour with Krupowki, cheese tasting, Gubalowka Funicular and Hot Bath Pools option:
This option includes the previous benefits and an additional visit to the BUKOVINA Thermal Baths. After visiting Zakopane and admiring the views from Gubałówka you will have 2.5 hours to relax in the soothing thermal water at the temperature between 30 and 38 °C. Besides, there are various sauna options and steam baths as well as crazy water slides!
