Prepare yourself to discover the Sanctuary of Fátima, a place of Christian pilgrimage and Catholic devotion, preserving the memory of the events that led to its foundation, namely the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima to the three shepherds in 1917. Accompanied by an expert guide you'll discover the history of this place which attracts millions of visitors per year.
Departing from Coimbra on an air-conditioned vehicle you'll head to Aljustrel, also known as Aldeia de Valinhos, the place where the 3 little shepherds lived. Arriving at the sanctuary, you'll visit the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, the place where the remains of the three little shepherds rest. You'll also enter the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, the most recent of the sanctuary, and the Capelinha das Aparições.
