Full-Day Experience as a Marine Biologist
Get ready for a day of intense research and learning about sea giants. If you have always been interested in marine life research and are curious about how biologists go about their daily lives, this experience is absolutely for you! In recent years, more than 3,000 sperm whales and more than 500 blue whales have been identified in the Azores, thanks to the research that has been done in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
This experience will start in the morning in Ponta Delgada where a team of marine biologists will greet you and accompany you during the entire tour. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy almost 7 hours in the sea on a small boat where you'll have the opportunity to observe the wildlife and learn more about the species that will show up. During the tour, you'll also relish a light meal onboard.
