Enjoy an experience in Montserrat with a train trip from Barcelona, rack railway tickets, access to the National Museum, the audio-visual space, the basilica, and a liqueur tasting.

Take the train from Barcelona and reach Montserrat. Visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary of Montserrat and the Benedictine monastery, with the statue of the Black Madonna, a Romanesque sculpture dating from the late 12th century. Discover the heart of Montserrat. Entry to the "Montserrat behind closed doors" Audiovisual Room, have spirits tasting at the shop.

Take the Montserrat rack railway. Covering a distance of 1,350m at an average speed of 5 m/s, the Cable Car can comfortably transport visitors up the mountain in just 5 minutes, overcoming gradients of up to 45%.

Visit the National Museum of Montserrat (MDM), home to one of the country's most important art collections. Enjoy Caravaggio, El Greco, Rusiñol, Casas, Picasso, Dali, Monet, and a valuable collection of the Archaeology of the Ancient World.

From the Barcelona-Pl. Espanya station there are Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya trains to Montserrat every hour beginning at 8.36am
Opening hours of the ticket office at the Plaça Espanya FGC: 8.00am to 2.00pm (Outside these times you may not validate your transport ticket)
The Audiovisual Space is open from 9.00am to 5.45pm
The Basilica is open to the public from 7.30am to 8.00pm. Convent mass is at 11.00am (during religious services we ask you not to enter unless you wish to participate)
The Tabernacle of Our Lady is open from 8.00am to 10.30am and from 12.00pm to 6.30pm
