The tour will start with George’s humble childhood beginnings in Kingsbury in North London in the 1970s. His songs and life were very much influenced by his family upbringing and background and your expert tour guide will tell you why and you'll get to listen to stories about his life, family, friendships, loves and achievements.
The tour will cover more than 10 important sites in the life of George across places including Kingsbury, sites in Hertfordshire and Hampstead, and Highgate. You'll see some of the sites where he wrote songs, where George and Andrew had their first-ever gig, and you'll even stop for a drink at the same pub where Wham! was formed!
By the time you reach Highgate at the end of the tour, George’s North London home, you will have followed the course of the rise of one of Britain’s greatest singers. This is where he had reached the dizzy heights of fame having achieved multi-award-winning albums and fame with Wham! and as a solo singer from the 80’s to the noughties.
