The functionalist-style New Town Hall building offers a magnificent view from its 73-metre-high observation deck. It's undoubtedly one of the best viewpoints in Ostrava. From there, you'll see a panorama of the whole of Ostrava, the Zywiec and Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains, cities in Poland including the highest heap in Europe, and on a clear day, even mountains in Slovakia
This tower holds the title of being the tallest town hall tower in the Czech Republic. A guide will be there to enlighten you about Ostrava and its many gems. There's also a tourist information point providing details about the region.

Accessibility:
- Not suitable for people with claustrophobia, fear of heights or fear of lift rides
Know in advance:
- The ticket is valid for 7 days after purchase
- There is a separate entrance for wheelchair users (right side of the building)
- Last entry takes place 15 minutes before closing
- Large groups (over 15 people) must be booked in advance
- The guide is multilingual (English and Polish)
- All student must carry a valid student's card
