Your bike tour starts in the middle of Sachsenhausen, one of the most popular neighborhoods. Find many old buildings from the Wilhelminian period and explore this neighborhood with its high density of trendy bars, cozy cafes, and a wide selection of restaurants as well as traditional apple wine taverns.
Then cycle through small streets to the southern bank of the Main with the famous Museumsufer. See the Liebieghaus and the Museum für Angewandte Kunst. Cross the Holbeinsteg to the other side of the Main and cycle into Frankfurt's old town. Afterward, you cycle through the Großer Hirschgraben to the residence of the Goethe family. Here the famous poet was born and spent his youthful years.
Continue the bike tour on the former medieval defense line of the city, the green avenue ring that was created in the 20th century. Reach the New and Old Opera Houses and see the impressive silhouette of the city with its skyscraper towers directly. Back on the Alleenring, cycle to the east of the city and finally reach the Main again. See the new tower of the European Central Bank and admire the city's currently most popular bars located right on the waterfront. Finally, you cycle just a few meters back to Sachsenhausen.
