Start this self-driving audio tour at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, where you can learn about the canyon's geology and have more understanding of how this area was developing. The Native Americans inhabited the Grand Canyon for thousands of years, and you will stop by Hopi House, a native copy of the houses they used to live in.

See the remains of one of the first campsites, as well as the old El Tovar Hotel with its rustic charm, and Bright Angel Lodge with the fireplace built of rocks from every period of the Grand Canyon's history.
