This region was once the very edge of the wild west, many people came here seeking their fortune. The tour will take you see one of the world’s richest gold mining operations at the Homestake Mine. You will also pass through flourishing nature on the Custer Wildlife Loop Road, where you might watch deer, antelopes, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, elks, coyotes, and buffaloes.

On the Wyoming side of the border, you can spot Devils Tower the first US National Monument, and a site of spiritual importance for Native Americans to this day.
