Escape from the bustling streets of San Francisco on a half-day excursion to Muir Woods National Park and the charming Sausalito, often hailed as the prettiest village in California!

Embark on a journey across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and traverse the rugged coastal mountains of Marin County. Marvel at the stunning vistas of the San Francisco Bay and the valleys that were once home to the Coastal Miwok. Your initial destination is the Muir Woods National Monument, where ancient groves of Giant Redwoods (Sequoia Sempervirens) stand tall along Redwood Creek. The entrance fee for Muir Woods is included in all tour options, and you'll have 90 minutes to explore the park at your own pace.

Afterwards, pay a visit to the delightful coastal town of Sausalito, a Mediterranean-style gem adorned with charming shops, art galleries, and waterfront eateries. If an hour stop in Sausalito is not enough for you, you can choose to extend your stay and return to San Francisco by ferry (if option selected). The ferry ride provides stunning views of Alcatraz Island and the San Francisco skyline and takes approximately 20 minutes, docking at Pier 41 in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf.

If you prefer to return by bus, simply relax on a comfortable bus, and you'll be transported back to San Francisco to conclude this memorable day.
