After meeting your hosts and your first drink, you'll start helping with preparing the meal. You can also just watch, make notes, and take pictures, whatever you prefer.
All local families speak at least some basic English, so you'll have the possibility to chat and ask questions about daily life in Vietnam. Feel free to share some things about yourself and your home country. Most local families find it very interesting to hear about other cultures.
