Experience diverse marine life with great quality equipment and exceptional crew. Visiting the outer reef takes a maximum of just 12 passengers on board per trip and just 6 snorkelers per instructor, ensuring you’ll enjoy a very exclusive day.
Before starting the tour. a safety briefing conducted by the crew. See much of the reef’s colors and marine life, visible within just a couple of meters of the water’s surface trip can take us to several outer reef locations where the very special Great Barrier Reef marine park permit allows us to roam the reefs freely and be away from other tourists and crowded reef locations. Having the ability to be able to roam all the reefs off Port Douglas means you can frequently change our snorkel locations. Ensuring the wildlife acts naturally and does not begin shying from busy reef spots, so the surprise “big ticket” sightings are frequent and amazing! The team is in the water with you to ensure you don’t miss a thing on your Great Barrier Reef day tour.
Important to know
- Important: Sunscreen is found to be damaging the reef. Coral is very sensitive to chemical additives found in conventional sunscreen, which is why we recommend you cover yourself with clothes
- Please note age, fitness levels, heart disease, and some medical conditions can increase the risks of injury when snorkelling
- You must be at age 7+ to join the tour
- If you have seasickness or If you are not sure, prevention is better than cure. It's recommended to take the medication 1 hour before boat departure (otherwise medication won’t work)
- Please bring your own Food/snacks and a water bottle for your day, towel, sunglasses, hat, swimmers, and a change of clothes
- Pickup is available from the Port Douglas area and it's included, If you want to be picked up please indicate your pickup detail during check out. You are also welcome to come directly to the meeting point
