What to expect
Start the day with a short 5 metre abseil to learn the techniques. Then with your instructor explaining each step, work up to some bigger 15-metre abseils. Finish off with an adrenaline-pumping 30-metre overhanging abseil.
After a tasty lunch, begin the afternoon with a lesson on rock climbing techniques, then complete several single-pitch climbs.
This trip has been designed to be suitable for all skill levels. It is a perfect introduction into the vertical world of rock.
Important to know
- You need to be quite fit in order to truly enjoy this activity
- Your guides have certificates in abseiling and Rock climbing, First Aid, and a Bronze medallion with hundreds of years of experience
- There are free parking and luggage space available to put your luggage at the meeting point
- If you have a dietary restriction for your free lunch, please contact the local operator whose information is available after your booking
- Please dress perfectly for the weather, wear running shoes, a liter of water, and your camera
