Discover the major historical sites of the eastern or western Old Montréal with a professional guide. Stroll through the charming cobblestone streets and winding alleys of the historic district. This walking tour is filled with historical, architectural and anecdotal information that will highlight the best of Montréal’s birthplace, whether you are a tourist or a Montrealer.

Choose between two different 90-minute walking tour, Old Montréal East and Old Montréal West. The eastern side of Old Montréal features some major landmarks as well as hidden gems. Among other attractions, you'll see the exterior of the Notre-Dame Basilica, Cours le Royer, St-Paul Street, Place Jacques-Cartier, City Hall, Champ de Mars and Bonsecours street. The tour will end near Bonsecours Market. Go off the beaten track with the tour of Western Old Montréalwalking. Look back on Montréal’s history and development and witness the dynamic metropolis it is today. You'll have the chance to see the exterior of the Notre-Dame Basilica, Place d’Armes, St-Jacques Street and its banks, McGill Street, Place d’Youville and Place Royale and end near Pointe-à-Callière Museum.

If you want to dive deep into Montréal's old city and know everything there is to know about its past, then combine the two tours for a total visiting time of 3 hours. You can join both of them on the same day with a 1-hour break in between or on different dates.
