Sidste punkt på dagsordenen er Gri Gri-lagunen, og som en ekstra bonus hele dagen, er alle drikkevarer gratis.Efter at være hentet i Puerto Plata, kører vi til Caleton Beach for at snorkle og bade, hvorefter vi tager til vores næste stop, DuDu-grotten. Udflugten fortsætter til Playa Grande. Cirka 20 kilometer udenfor Puerto Plata ligger en af Den Dominikanske republiks mest velbevarede hemmeligheder – vandfaldene ved Damajagua. Spring ud i dette tempofyldte eventyr, hvor du springer, svømmer og rutcher nad af naturlige rutsjebaner under kyndig vejledning af en guide . En typiskt dominikansk frokost afrunder denne actionfyldte dag.Vi starter direkte når du kommer frem til vandfaldene ved Damajagua - udmejslet i kalkstensbjerget og omkranset af frodig regnskov er de nærmest unikke. Du glider ned ad naturlige rutsjebaner og gennem tunneler, springer ned i naturlige bassiner og forcerer alle de 12 niveauer der er på programmet. Og de bliver mere og mere udfordrende. Der bliver masser af fotomuligheder når du kommer til, de forskellge naturlige pools og vandflad som ‘La Virgen' og ‘La Tinajita'. Efter to og en halv time kommer du til det sted, hvor eventyret afsluttes ved et smukt vandfald. Alternatively, ramp it up a notch and go for both – it's up to you.Mother Nature carved out a series of pools and slides at Damajagua Waterfalls, which make for one spine-tingling descent. You'll slip and swim your way down 12 natural pools set in among lush jungle, and have time to float in the final pool to take it all in.Then, you'll dry off and head to a Dominican restaurant for lunch before a cigar factory tour in Saballo. Now for more action and adventure at Rancho Los Cacaos – you have the option of a 30-minute horseback ride through the countryside or an hour-and-fifteen-minute buggy drive along dirt roads in the hills. You can also enjoy both activities if you can't decide.

Cocoa, chocolate, cheese and sugar cane – these are just a few of the things you'll come face to face with on this full-day, culture-packed tour. You'll journey towards Imbert to learn about Geo Geo cheese, then pass through communities and plantations towards Teco Beach for a swim.We'll kick things off with a scenic journey towards Imbert, passing through lots of small communities such as Maimon, to arrive at an artisan cheese factory. See how local Geo Geo cheese is made, then continue your foray into Dominican produce at Las Lajas where you'll visit a coffee plantation and cocoa farm.After a taster of Dominican chocolate, there's more to try over a typical lunch. At La Piragua, you'll see how sugar cane is produced and visit a local's home where they make baskets and mats out of natural materials. A cigar factory tour will be next, followed by the fishing village of Maimon and a final swimming stop at Teco Beach.
El Limon Waterfall Horseback Ride
Set among a tropical rainforest, El Limon Waterfall is one of the Dominican Republic's jaw-dropping sights to behold. And you'll reach it by horseback, clip clopping through lush forested landscape. Or make it a full-day tour and add on some spine-tingling thrills with ziplining in the morning.Gushing down into a natural pool, El Limon Waterfall has all the makings of a tropical paradise. But what makes it so special is the journey there, high up into the rainforest with the mountains looming over you, which you'll do on horseback. Then once you reach the falls, you'll have free time to take a dip in the natural pool that forms below.What's more, if you want to tag on some adrenaline to your day, you have the option of a full-day tour complete with ziplining in the morning. You'll fly through the treetops like Tarzan over 10 cables and 20 platforms, with the rainforest at your feet. The horseback ride to the waterfall with then follow in the afternoon after lunch at the ranch.
