An audio-guided tour of the castle will reveal fascinating anecdotes about this impressive architecture built over 500 years ago by King Francis I of France. Next, enjoy a scenic drive along the river, glimpsing other wonderful castles such as Amboise (Leonardo da Vinci’s last home) and Blois, home to French kings during the Renaissance. For lunch, savour local cuisine paired with wines at a winery or restaurant. Use this time to ask your guide about wine or French culture.

After lunch, take in panoramic views of the vineyards of Montlouis-sur-Loire and Vouvray, known for world-famous white wines.
