Alsace villages half day trip from Strasbourg

Follow the Alsace wine route, lined with Castles, Renaissance Buildings and picture-perfect charming villages.

Your first stop is Barr, located close to Obernai, famous for its surrounding vineyards where local Sylvaner, Riesling and Gewurztraminer are produced, as well as its fine architecture. Enjoy its old shops and cultural buildings!

Then, head to Mittlebergheim another quaint village located on the side of a hill and surrounded by vines. The village is home to wine makers houses. Admire the magnificent Renaissance town hall, and enjoy some free time there.

End the tour with a guided walking tour and visit of Andlau. This pretty little town is dotted with old houses but the most important landmark here is the 9th C. Saint Peter – Saint Paul Abbatial Church.
