On this cooking experience, you will master how to prepare “Khinkali” and “Adjarian Khachapuri”.
The event will be held in a Georgian family of an experienced culinary specialist in a cozy home environment. The family will teach you how to select ingredients, introduce you to popular recipes and reveal the secrets of the Georgian cuisine, which you can easily repeat cooking at home.
The first dish that will be prepared is khinkali - the pride of Georgian cuisine.
During the master class, you will learn step by step how to choose the right proportions and knead the dough so that it turns out elastic and soft. You will also find out what ingredients you need to use in order to form the very healing broth in the filling of your khinkali, which is the most important part in the process of eating this dish. Also, you will learn how to properly wrap khinkali so that they do not fall apart during cooking.
The second course will be Adjarian khachapuri.
The culinary master will demonstrate how to properly prepare the dough for khachapuri so that it turns out tender and what kind of cheese to use so that it is pulling and melts in your mouth. You will also learn about different ways to create this exquisite Georgian dish.
Cooking will be accompanied by stories and legends about the national cuisine. And then, of course, you will have a tasting of your own prepared dishes. After this event, you will be able to independently cook Georgian dishes at home.
