This guided tour will start from the impressive Brandenburg Gate with its beautifully illuminated Christmas tree and finish at the lively Alexanderplatz near the City Hall (the so-called "Rotes Rathaus") and the TV tower. Pass by important landmarks such as the State Opera, Humboldt University, the former City Palace and the stunning Berlin Cathedral.
Along the way, listen to exciting stories and fun facts about Germany's many Christmas traditions, like: When did the first Christmas tree appear in Berlin? What do potatoes have to do with Christmas? How did Berliners celebrate Christmas during WWI and WWII?

You will finish the tour conveniently close to two more Christmas markets where you can round off your experience after the tour with ice-skating, or a unique ferris wheel ride with a fantastic view over the illuminated city.
