This trip takes you from Wedel through beautiful nature and past the old Elbe fishermen. Maybe you'll make it to the port of Hamburg, maybe just to its gates, it doesn't really matter. There are no age restrictions and no previous experience is necessary. The level of activity on board during the trip is determined by each sailor.
You'll enjoy an emission-free sail for miles along the islands of Hanskalbsand, Neßsand and Schweinesand, with their beautiful Elbe beaches. Then on past the Mühlenberger Loch and the Cranz lock to see the hills of Blankenese opposite, which are close enough to touch. It's a special kind of spectacle when the big ships pass you by. Continue past Teufelsbrück, Övelgönne and Finkenwerder to "to the gates of Hamburg", with the landmark Elbphilharmonie concert hall firmly in view and back again.
