What to expect
Start your excursion at the cruise ship terminal in Warnemuende and join your guide on an orientation walk through the quaint fisherman's village and seaside resort Warnemuende. Get a glimpse of the local lifestyle, the typical houses and the interesting history of this popular tourist spot. Why not return here for some more exploration on your own after the tour.
Next board a public commuter train and tram for a short and comfortable ride into Rostock. In Rostock, you will explore the most important sights with your guide during a moderately paced walk. See the main square, the city hall, St. Marien Church with its famous astronomical clock, the university and its pretty square as well as the ancient city wall and the beautifully preserved Holy Cross Monastery, today a museum. After some time at leisure downtown, head back to the cruise port with the tram and train again.
The tour will give a great overview of Warnemuende and Rostock and allows for some time on your own in the city center.

- The tour is rated "active". All participants should be comfortable walking up to 30 min at a time and climbing some steps. You will use public transport and no private coach or van
