South Slope of Acropolis of Athens Self-Guided Audiovisual Tour with 3D Models

Enjoy one of the most beautiful walks in Athens and discover two significant ancient sanctuaries, one of the god Dionysos and the other of the god Asklepios.

Sit in the stands of the oldest theatre in ancient Greece, where the theatrical plays of the great tragic and comic poets were performed for the first time. Discover the most famous Conservatory of ancient Athens, sponsored by the wealthy Herodes Atticus, which still hosts cultural events.

The 3D representations of the Culture App will take you to an era when Athens was the cultural and intellectual centre of the ancient world. Aim the mobile camera at the monument and reveal its name with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Listen or read its history and watch how the destroyed monument appears on your phone's screen in its original form, in 3D models and 360 panoramic views. The most important monuments come to life in front of you in their original form only with a button touch.
