What to expect

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the volcanic island of Milos, a gem in the Greek Archipelago. This comprehensive half-day tour showcases the island’s most significant historical and geological sites.

The tour begins at Papafragas, a mesmerising cluster of deep-sea inlets and sea caves shaped by volcanic activity. Overlooking the crystal clear, azure waters, you'll see daring swimmers exploring the caves below. The tour proceeds to the ancient city of Phyalakopi, a prehistoric settlement active until 1000 BC. From a nearby vantage point, you'll glimpse its western fortification wall and delve into its rich history.

A short drive away lies Sarakiniko, renowned for its white rock formations moulded by volcanic eruptions. This otherworldly spot, one of Milos' most photographed, offers an ideal setting for a scenic walk and photo opportunities. You'll then visit the charming village of Plaka. With its cobbled streets, traditional architecture, and awe-inspiring sea views, it is renowned for its local treats and beautiful surroundings.

You'll then visit the Early Christian Catacombs near Trypiti, a sacred resting place for 2,500 souls. Nearby, you'll view the recently restored marble Roman Amphitheatre. The final stop is the site where the iconic Venus de Milo was discovered in 1820, now housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris. Throughout this journey, you'll uncover fascinating stories of ancient cities and step back in time visiting historical landmarks.
