Do this because

  • Cross tectonic plates on the Bridge Between Continents
  • Soak in the legendary healing waters of the Blue Lagoon
  • Lounge oceanside on volcanic black sand beaches
  • Uncover maritime history at the venerable Reykjanes Lighthouse
  • Marvel at the soaring views from Krísuvíkurberg Cliffs

What to expect

Your tour begins near the monumental Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where tectonic plates meet. After cruising through the quaint village of Hafnir, you’ll reach the dramatic Hafnarberg Sea Cliffs, a photographer's delight.

Continue on to the Bridge Between Continents, which is exactly what it sounds like! Then check out one of Iceland’s iconic black sand beaches at Sandvík. Feel the Earth's power at Gunnuhver Hot Springs and then turn back the clock at the historic Reykjanes Lighthouse, which has guided mariners since the 19th century. Next, make sure you’ve made a reservation to visit the famous Blue Lagoon! Here, your tour will illuminate why these hot springs are so special and direct you straight to them so you can take a dip. After that, you’ll uncover even more Icelandic history, from infamous pirate attacks to devastating volcanic eruptions. Then you’ll see a volcano up close: Fagradalsfjall. Embark on a rugged hike on the Stóri hrútur trail, or just cruise through the historic fishing outpost of Selatangar.

Then, stop by the Krísuvíkurberg Cliffs to marvel at the views. The ancient Eldborg crater awaits ahead, followed by the geothermal area of Krýsuvík. Finally, you’ll arrive at the Seltún Geothermal Area, where steaming hot springs mark the finish line of your tour.
