Continue into the countryside and you'll head to the mountain resort of Bedugul and Lake Beratan. Here, you'll discover the iconic Hindu Shaivite temple of Ulun Danu. Sat on a small viewpoint overlooking the lake, the temple is home to the Goddess of Waters named Danu, who's believed to control the island's irrigation system.
