Taking into account the climatic and snowy conditions of the period, you will climb, equipped with good equipment and crampons, up to about 3000 meters of altitude. The icy and snowy ground makes this excursion an activity for experienced hikers. Meet your group, and departure from Rifugio Sapienza, with the cable car that will take you to an altitude of 2500mt, from here you will walk up to 3000 meters through long stretches of snow and visiting the cone of 2001, Valle del Bove, and the craters Barbagallo, from which you will have the chance to admire the top of Etna. On the way back, if the snow conditions allow, you will visit a lava channel and return to the upper station of the cable car that will take you to the starting point.
