Option 1: meeting point is at Marunouchi North Exit at Tokyo Station, 1 Chome Marunouchi, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 100-0005, Japan. Departure time: 8am.

Option 2: meeting point is at Mitsui Sumitomo Bank at Shinjuku West Exit, 1-7-1 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo-to 160-0023, Japan. Departure time: 8.30am.

In summer and autumn, ascend to Mount Fuji's 5th station, at 2305 meters on the mountainside. Experience the awe-inspiring proximity to the peak and, on clear days, a panoramic view of Lake Kawaguchi and the surrounding landscapes. When the clouds and mist enshroud the area, witness the breathtaking sea of clouds. In winter and spring, venture to Shin-Kojiriyama Sengen Park, an ideal spot to take in the full splendour of Mount Fuji. Climb the 397 steps near the main hall to behold a single frame view of the Five-storied Pagoda, Mount Fuji, and the townscape.

Next, Oshino Hachimantai, eight crystal clear springs fed by Mount Fuji's snowmelt. These springs are known for their scenic fusion with Mount Fuji, a spectacle that has attracted countless photographers over time. You can opt to savour Japanese delicacies: Ramen and Unagi (eel) rice.

Finally, choose between shopping or relaxation. For shopping enthusiasts, there's a popular outlet centre offering a wide range of brands. For those seeking tranquillity, visit Ki no Hana no Yu.

Extra fees to be paid on-site:

Optional hot spring bathing fee: 1700 yen on weekdays, and 2100 yen on weekends and holidays. If the facility is closed, the alternative options are Gotemba Fuji Hakkei, with a 3-hour ticket for 1000 yen, or Gotemba City Hot Spring Hall, with a 3-hour ticket for 500 yen
