Experience a guided canoe tour in the moorland-meadows close to Amsterdam. Escape the busyness of the city to the nature and spend half a day enjoying the unique landscape. On this tour you’ll paddle through 17th century villages, surrounded by wild water plants and singing birds.
The tour starts from Amsterdam central Station. From there your English speaking guide will take you to the starting point of Wetlands safari. Glide in a canoe exploring the dense reed lands while your guide is telling you about the origins of the area. The same beautiful landscape has inspired the best known Dutch painters, such as Rembrandt and Ruysdael. During the tour you’ll have plenty of possibilities to stop and get off the canoe to discover the reed land by walking and to have a picnic.
