Ever wondered how those beautiful Dutch wooden shoes are made? Learn the craft of making clogs at a Dutch clog farm! Enjoy a guided tour and taste some of the best cheeses, biscuits, and wine that Holland has to offer.
Starting out with a block of wood from the Dutch poplar tree, you will learn the steps involved in making clogs. Shape the outside of the shoe the old fashioned way, with a big knife and carve out the inside of the shoe with a sharp spoon.
During the workshop, you will make a wooden shoe per person or per duo. Receive a semi-finished wooden shoe that can be decorated with the help of engraving tools and colorful paint.
After the workshop, you will enjoy a guided tour in which you learn about typical Dutch Goude or Edam cheese. The cheese can be tasted in the shop together with typical Dutch biscuits and a sip of local fruit wine.
