What to expect
Explore Rotorua and its lakes and enjoy the best in both worlds. The tour is divided into two parts, land (the city tour) and water (the lake tour).
Starting with the city tour, you will see the beautiful gardens, iconic buildings, and geothermal areas before heading out into two of Rotorua’s most stunning lakes. The water part includes splashdown onto the crater lakes Tikitapu and Okareka. Along the way, you'll also be able to see the stunning Mount Tarawera, which erupted on June 10th, 1886.
You'll continue your journey and travel through plantation forests as well as lush native New Zealand forests. Together with your fun and expert guide, you will also learn about the amazing history of the incredible WWII landing craft that you are traveling on and how it was used throughout the war and history.
