The journey commences with an early morning departure from Cusco, followed by a scenic three-hour drive to Soraypampa. Along this route, you'll have the opportunity to admire the diverse local fauna, including the majestic Andean condor and swift swallows, all set against the backdrop of the imposing Salkantay and Humantay snow peaks.

Upon reaching Soraypampa, the ascent towards the Humantay Lagoon begins. This two-hour hike is rewarded with the chance to explore and capture photographs of this spectacular location. After spending some time soaking in the beauty of the lagoon, you'll commence the descent back to Soraypampa.

Once back in Soraypampa, you can refuel with a well-deserved lunch before beginning the return journey to Cusco. This unforgettable excursion offers a blend of physical challenge and natural beauty, making it a must-do for any adventurous traveller.
