What to expect

Who are the tiny inhabitants of Wroclaw? The capital of Silesia is home to many surprises. Discover them on this full-day tour departing from Krakow.

You will leave Krakow at 7.00am and spend the whole day discovering the "Venice of the North". Once in Wroclaw, gather in the majestic Town Hall Square and start with a 2,5-hour tour of the wonderful historical center of the city.

Discover the facade of the Astronomical Clock, the Pillory, the tiny dwarfs (by the way, do you know where they come from?), The Cathedral of St. John Baptist and the Bridge of Lovers. To conclude the morning walk, you will visit some islands in the river Oder with interesting monuments to discover.

While waiting for the second part of the excursion you can restore yourself in one of the traditional Polish restaurants recommended by the guide.

After lunch, it's time to start the visit to Aula Leopoldina, the most representative building of the University of Wroclaw. Next, you will see one of the hidden gems in this city, Panorama Racławicka. The spectacular 360-degree painting is really mind-blowing and a 30-minute audioguide will permit you to understand the details of this masterpiece. Afterward, discover the surroundings of the Centennial Pavilion, headquarters of the Nazi party when this city was still the territory of the 3rd Reich. You will end your visit to Wrocław with a breath of fresh air as you stroll through the Japanese garden before your return to Krakow.
