Join this full-day experience and discover one of São Miguel's must-visit places, Fogo Lake. Hiking on the path to Lagoa do Fogo you'll observe a great variety of native and endemic vegetation, as well as the views of the lake from a different perspective. On this tour, you'll enjoy a complete experience full of landscapes, history, and nature.
The tour will start in Ponta Delgada, where you'll join your guide and the rest of the group and depart to the first stop in Miradouro do Pisão, an amazing viewpoint that looks upon the natural pools and the convent of Caloura. Once in Agua d'Alto beach, you'll start an 11-km hiking trail. Don't miss the opportunity to relish a picnic on the shore of the lake, enjoying the landscape as well as the Caldeira of the volcano where the lake sits.
