What to expect
This tour will bring you on the Small Carpathian Wine Road, one of the eight wine regions of Slovakia. You will be given a short basic introduction of Slovakia and it's wine culture.
Arrive in the small wine town Svaty Jur and pass along the beautiful city center. You will stop at a family run local winery, which has its own vineyards and produces unique organic wines.
The wine degustation includes 5 sorts of local fine wine with traditional Slovakian wine snacks: cheese, bacon and salami. At the wine degustation you will have the opportunity to chat with the local producer and enjoy the cozy environment of the winery.
Important to know
- This tour operates with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 participants
- Guests must be at least 18 years old to join this tour
- Wine tasting includes : degustation of 5 sorts of wines accompanied with local snacks
- The partner offers pickup and drop-off services between your accommodation in Bratislava and the Bratislava train station
- During checkout select either tour with pick-up or tour without pick-up
- Tour with pick-up : the partner will contact you after booking to confirm the exact pickup time
- The train route to Svaty Jur is unacompanied, you will meet your driver/guide on the platform in Svaty Jur
- You train tickets will be sent to your email 1 day prior to departure. Please indicate your email address during booking
- Train tickets will be issued for the second category with seat reservation
- Trains depart from Bratislava to Svaty Jur at 5.18pm. You will arrive in Svaty Jur train station at 5.32pm
- Trains depart from Svaty Jur to Bratislava at 7.27pm. You will arrive in Bratislava main train stations at 7.42pm
- The tour is not wheelchair accessible
